In addition to being a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Dr. MEMBER OF THE CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF COSMETIC MEDICINE Simard received training in stem cell therapy with the Blue Tail Medical Group in St. Simard has added ultrasound to his cortisone infiltration practice and uses PRP (platelet rich plasma) in musculoskeletal and aesthetic procedures.ĭr. Simard received training in phlebology (varicose veins) with the renowned Dr. Since then, he has been practising medical aesthetics in Quebec and has refined his training in lasers, botox, wrinkle fillers and lipodissolving by attending various conferences, clinical courses and advanced workshops.
Simard confirmed his interest in the fine technique with a training course in California with Dr. During this period, he was an instructor in resuscitation: neonatal (NRP), cardiopulmonary (ACLS), trauma (ATLS) and rural critical care (RCC). He has 18 years of emergency experience, mainly at the Alma hospital where he was head of department for several years.
During his three years of practice in the operating room of the Jonquière hospital, he perfected his infiltration techniques to counter pain. Simard completed training in anesthesia recognized by the Collège des médecins du Québec. He studied medicine in Ontario at the University of Ottawa and received his specialty diploma in family medicine in 1992 from McGill University.
